Trolling Motor Batteries
The Trolling Motors come in 12 volt/24 volt/36 volt meaning one, two, or
three batteries to run them.
The first one I had was a 12 volt system and it seem
to me I always ran out of juice before I was finished fishing. I called the Boat
dealer near me and he said that I could hook up two batteries still keeping it at a
12 volt system and that way it would not drain the battery, but take juice
from both equally.
I was soon to find out this would last me all day, and
when I switched to the Minn Kota 24 volt system, I already had the batteries and
did not need to add any batteries.
Trolling Motor Props
They also have different props like the big motor; a different prop for different
things. Some props produce more power and some produce more speed. I always use the weedless prop because you can
find me in a lot of grass and what I call trash. There are so many things to decide two blade
or three blade.
Now I have given you some more to think about to see what will fit your pocket
book or what is needed for your kind of fishing. There will be more tips later on so make
sure you stop by and check it out.
